The house is primarily set up for a self catering style of holiday. The kitchen is generously outfitted with all the appliances and utensils needed for making simple or complex meals. Oreti River House is a short walk from a well stocked local supermarket containing fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh cuts of meats, frozen foods and dry shelf items.

In addition, it is possible to order a generous breakfast hamper when booking accommodation on the website. This will to be placed in the house fridge for your convenience upon arrival.

A herb garden is available to guests filled with rosemary, parsley, thyme, shallots and chives - located just outside the kitchen door. Other parts of the garden have beds of sage, oregano, marjoram and mint.

The house has a gas BBQ available under the outside pergola with table and seating.

Supplies of clothes washing powder and dish washing liquids are provided

Full linen service for beds, bathrooms and kitchen. For bookings longer than 7 days, fresh linen and a light clean is provided each week.

Two bicycles with helmets can be hired for a small cost to enable guests to sample sections of the fabulous new Cycle Trail that has been completed into and out of Lumsden.
